UE 5.5 Ushell is missing.

According to the official documentation, it’s been corrected to include Ushell in UE5.5 via Epic Launcher. But, I cannot find it on macOS. I haven’t tried Windows, so I’m not sure if this is mac specific issue. I tried to verify the engine via the launcher but no luck. I see only “tps” folder in “ushell” folder. No other files. Is this still a known issue in UE 5.5 mac? Or, Is everyone else OK with locating 5.5 ushell? Is there a way to get ushell for 5.5 on macOS?

Hey there @mindblender! Welcome back to the community! I can confirm ushell.bat does ship with 5.5 on Windows with the EGS build. However it seems for both Linux and MacOS only source builds come with it. So if possible, you may need to run a source build and verify if the utility is there.

Thanks for confirming. Is there any plans to include binary with launcher builds for macOS? I found Source build’s ushell can only load up the source build’s ‘.uproject’.

I don’t see any mention of upcoming changes to tooling anywhere, though updates to platform availability for something like the ushell tool would probably not be advertised. If I hear anything, I’ll be sure to let you know!
