UE 5.5 Mixamo retarget not working

Hello,

I used to retarget animation from Mixamo in UE Version prior to 5.5, which was working fine so far once the animations were updated to have proper root bones with an update tool (blender addon for example).

Now with UE5.5 if I retarget the animations are messed up as seen on the screenshot.

Can someone help me how to get the animations properly retargeted in UE 5.5?

Source and retarget skeletons must have same pose, and your source does not have A-Pose.

Oh, you are totally right. I even saw this in a video but somehow ignored it. So I have to export the ybot from mixamo in the same A-Pose like manny is and it will work.

If you export to A-Pose, there is option in unreal to automatically fix (slight) differences in poses.
