UE 5.5 Crashes when trying to import

Hi there,

I was having no issues until a random crash which caused a few of my programs including Unreal to close. Now when I use the program it works all fine until I try and import in something such as static meshes to the game. This is the crash report I’m receiving:

Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000001401000008

I was looking and saw suggestions of changing any Nvidia settings to default in the control panel, and I’ve also reinstalled my latest graphics driver, nothings changed. Any help would be absolutely amazing, thanks

Crash happens in the code that reads the FBX file.

Did you already import successfully this file in this version of the engine?
Is it a reimport?
Which version of UE are you using? Can you share that FBX file with us?
