Foliage flickering and accentuates especially when it starts to cloud. I use Lumen and TSR
Does anyone have an idea how I could fix this bug?
Thank you!

I’m seeing shadow flickers. Could be caused by Material transparency (Overdraw). Look into converting the material over to Masked. This will increase FPS too.
if all foliage is masked look at increasing light mass in steps.
Could also be TAA.
It’s worse if I put something other than TSR
I’m running TSR and my foliage looks great. All are masked (grass, bushes, trees, debris, skree etc). IF there’s heavy shadowing on them I increase their light mass.
All dynamic lighting. No statics/baked.
I don’t have any areas that are as woodsy and dense as yours (yet).
I have a very dense forest. Specifically, it is from the marketplace (mawi broadleaf)
Can’t find mawi broadleaf. Did find MAWI United though. PCG, PBR, High poly 4K/8K res environments.
Drop your Scalability to EPIC (Ultra Settings).
It has just been taken off sale for a short time. No matter what settings I make, that flickering is still visible
Is this for a game or cinematic?
If Game, start reducing the tree textures down to 2K. Open the texture and find “LOD Bias”. It should be defaulted to 0.
Set it to 1 to reduce the res by 50%. e.g. 4096x4096 → 2048x2048 (4096 / 2)
Set it to 2 to reduce the res by 100%. e.g. 8192x8192 → 2048x2048 (8192 / 4)
You have to scale each texture in a material. Albedo, normal…etc.
Grass and other small foliage can go to 1024. Adjust as needed/wanted.
It’s a game, I’ll try your advice and report back with what happens. Thank you for your help and for your time
It’s the same, nothing changes
@Rev0verDrive I found that DLSS fixes this bug but not completely
