UE 5.4 Cineware plugin crash loading modules

Hi,

I have been having problems with the Cineware plugin because it always crashes.
Whenever I try to load a simple or complex scene during ‘Loading Modules’ it crashes (closes without the bug window or it freezes).
I tried uninstalling the other versions of cinema and Unreal but it didn’t solve anything.
I have Cinema 4D 2024.5.1, UE 5.4.3 and the plugin 2024.5.15 on Win 11.

I have to import a very large scene from Cinema 4D but this is impossible! :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Any solutions?

Hi,

Exactly the same problems. But I have plugin 2024.5.13 and Win 10 pro. All Maxon programs are also up to date. With the old Datasmith C4D Importer plugin, I got the model to UE, but the Redshift materials were missing.

I’m sorry to dog pile on without a solution, but as of December 10th, 2024. This is still an issue.
