UE 5.4 Changing geometry collections scale keeps crashing the engine

When changing the geometry collection’s world scale in a blueprint, my engine always crash since 5.4.
In 4.3 it worked fine.


this gave me a nice effect of the particles fading away. Now the effect is:

Any ideas how to get around this crash? Is this a known bug?

I am experiencing the same crash with same code as yours. It was working in 5.3, but now it doesn’t. See if this fixes it.

I have the same exact problem, it stopped crashing after I disabled collision and simulation but it wont shrink the mesh pieces at all. They just disappear after animation finishes (but you can’t see the said animation).
