UE 5.4 Bake to Control Rig seems broken

This is a new test, with the MOCAP on the metahuman. The Mocap looks ok on the metahuman.

  1. I added the Mocap Clip to the Metahuman.

  2. Then baked to Control Rig with these settings.


  1. The sequencer looks like this.

But the bake turned out all wrong

  1. Notice how the origin of the animation also get offset back from where the Mocap started in the first capture. I have no idea why the Bake on the legs came out wrong, either.

I’m told the “Layered” Control Rig is not a bake?

The “Layered” IK arms look better than the bake seen in the previous post.

Question: How would I get a this “Layered” method to output a baked FBX?
