UE 5.3 Tank controls using both L/R Joysticks

Hi there!

I’ve dabbled in Unreal off and on over the years and am attempting to make a tank that you can drive around with controls similar to how Katamari Damacy controls the ball. If you press forward on both joysticks you should go forward, both back you go back, one forward one back you turn that direction. I have a blueprint created that works when the pawn is scaled down to .1 but when I then via the blueprint scale up the pawn’s mesh and collision box to .3 the controls no longer work as desired. Instead I can no longer move unless I’m directly at a 45 degree angle between the two axis. Then it will move forward. I can still turn the vehicle around just fine it’s just not getting any forward/reverse movement. I’ve tried printing out the results of each of the areas I’m making calculations and nothing in them shows me anything that should cause that behavior though I’m sure my newness to Unreal is probably just showing. I’ve even tried changing that first multiplier value I have in there but that doesn’t change anything with it’s output.

Any ideas on why this particular blueprint would work at .1 mesh scale but not at any other scale size?
