UE 5.3.2 keeps crashing

Hello,

I’m encountering an issue where Unreal Engine consistently crashes on my computer. I’ve tested both versions 5.1 and 5.3. Initially, everything runs smoothly when I create a new project, but the engine crashes after I add 4-5 objects from Quixel.

I’ve tried all the solutions I could find and even performed a complete reinstallation of Windows 11 to rule out any conflicts from other apps or driver issues.

Currently, I have nothing else installed besides Unreal Engine and the latest NVidia Studio Driver.

Here are my specs:

  • Intel Core I9 13900K
  • Geforce RTX 4080
  • 32GB RAM

Therefore, I don’t believe my machine’s power is the issue. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be causing this problem?

It’s not just the NaniteBuilder. It also crashes regularly with lower quality assets, or even just when I move an object.
