UE 5.1 Migrate Assets is buggy AF

Why is it that whenever I migrate assets from one Ue5.1 project to another it ends up MOVING the assets instead of copying them? This never used to happen in UE4…Is this a bug??

Does not happen in 5.2.1 for me, can you test that on a copy of your project? It definitely should copy not move, moving without notice would break references.

After testing it seems that after the migration process is done the files disappear from the content browser but are still visible when viewed in explorer. It’s weird. Definitely a bug

What about the logs, any warnings / errors that could cause it to go nuts halfway without finalizing? I have to guess here but it could be that at some point of the migration process an error occurs on one of the assets causing it to stop, or causing the content viewer not to display it / not to refresh. I do know that the content viewer can hide UAssets silently, saw it happen after I butchered a file on purpose with a text edit to replace one struct name with another.
