UE 5.1 Material Editor changes are horrible

Please either revert this change or make it optional. There is absolutely no sane reason to make every node larger and expose all parameters directly in the graph. It’s not like it’s even made it any easier to edit.

This information was already displayed and easy to access. This has to be optional at the very least.

Every material that was painstakingly organised and made readable in pre-5.1 versions is now unreadable and cluttered. The whole point of the graph editor is for basic information at a glance, now it’s information overload.

The material editor was one of UE’s strongest, easiest to use tools since UE3. It was perfect. Now it is less so, please remove it, or make it optional.

Indeed… appears Epic are beginning to slide onto that slippery slope of changing something that works perfectly well and doesn’t need changing to changing things apparently for the sheer sake of changing things… to freshen things up as they put it… I hope not but this type of action appears to simply be the case here… but I do hope not???
