Looks good! Keep at it!
hey nice work so far, i just saw this ://www.polycount/forum/showthread.php?t=158371&page=2 amazing stuff. he could probaly help you out if you have some question.
Making good progress but the one flaw I see is you move to the next asset before nailing something. You have made a lot of assets but almost all of them look average to me but at the same time I believe you just didn’t spend enough time per asset, not that you don’t have the skill. They just need some more love.
Yeah i now him in Person. He helped me a lot with the Bark.
What would need more Love ? You can scrap the last Branches. I making new one. More like a normal Pine. Don’t like the other one’s.
Looking nice. No i don’t have this Problem. I had about 30-40 Trees there (with Tesselation) and no Problems.
So let’s build better Branches.
For instance the rock meshes could look a lot better IMO.
You probably know of this long thread already but I’d just post it here in case… Good inspiration source:

The tree trunk textures look kinda flat and low resolution:

Since you are doing it for portfolio purpose and not as hobby I thought I’d let you know fine details matter A LOT.
Ok thank you :). Yeah maybe a make a few more Rocks in the end.
The Bark Texture… Yeah maybe i add Tesselation to this Guy too :).
So added Tesselation to the Birches :).

Looking really good! what texture resolutions are you using?
Thanks. 2048x2048
switched to CE³ (for me the better engine). So it ends here. Just check out the CE Forum if you want to see more.
