I recently tried to install UE from the 4.6 branch, and noticed the new installation process where you run the Setup.bat file instead of paste folders in. Running the Setup.bat file as administrator, I get this error trying to connect, and cannot install.
I assume it’s a firewall issue of some sort on my end, but I don’t really know a workaround so I was wondering if there’s another way of installation.

If you have an antivirus software installed then just try to disable it until your download is complete. If ok, then you may want to add the unrealengine.com domain in your trusted zone for the next downloads.

Were you able to follow Tensa_Zangetsu’s instructions to temporarily disable your antivirus while the instillation is happening? Let us know if you receive the same error message when trying to run the Setup.bat for 4.6.1.
I think it was my internal proxy server connection stuff, but I’ve got stuff downloading in the 4.6.1 tag, thanks!
