Ue 4.27 on MacBook Pro 2021 with M1 Pro

Hello everyone,

Recently I bought myself a MacBook with M1 Pro and I wanted to try Unreal on it and I can say that I wasn’t disappointed. I’m getting average 170 fps in one of the example scenes while the laptop is on batteries, but I noticed that the fps drops to 60 every time I look around the scene. It’s clearly a problem with Unreal or the compatibility between M1 and the software, because the fps drops even if I look to the sky right after looking at a complex mesh. Any ideas what might be causing the problem?

Thank you all in advance.

HI there,

is the 60fps not the maximin rate available for your Mac?

Hi, sorry for the late reply but I’ve seem to fix the issue. But no, the fps is not capped.
Unreal is still not native but the performance is amazing tho.
