UE 4.26 Bind groom to an Alembic Animation

Hi, at work we have tried to bind the groom that comes from Yeti to an Alembic animation imported as Skeletal mesh but it doesn’t seem to work, has anyone found a workaround to do it?

Unfortunately we can’t use the FBX workflow because some deformers from Maya are not based on blendshapes so they don’t get transferred
