Will any of the assets / plugins or any of the other files work with ue 4.14??

Plugins will have to be updated but scenes and assets should not be affected. It’s possible that some Blueprints might not work correctly. Before moving to a new version of the engine make sure you have your project backed up so you can go back if needed. It’s usually best to avoid going to a new version unless there’s a fix or a feature you need. Though if some new thing gets added/changed in a few versions later it can be even more difficult to upgrade to that.

I normally wait a week or more for people to run into issues and either hotfix or workaround made available on major updates.
