UE 4.10.3 is very heavy?

I updated my windows to work on 64 bit, but I feel UE 4.10.3 is loading in a very long time, and voice of CPU is very loud while running the UE , do you recommend to install a previous version ?

my laptop specs are:
Intel Core i5-2410M CPU - 230GHz
3 G RAM
Windows 10 64 Bit
HP

Is that 3GB of system RAM? Or GPU memory? The minimum recommended is 8GB for system RAM.

3 GB RAM is system ,

I though the recommended 8 GB RAM are the MAX not the MIN, :frowning:

I am so sad for that , as I know UE is the best game engine, but it seems my resources will make me decide to choose another engine

currently, 16GB of memory manufactured by crucial, is 67 dollars at newegg, 8GB is 44 dollars. Memory has dropped like a rock in pricing.

I’ve never in my life seen a system requirement says “Max RAM X” :slight_smile:

As jayice mentioned RAM is pretty cheap. You’re probably hitting your swap file really hard which explains your slow down.

If you upgrade, consider an SSD drive as well if you’re budget allows.
