Hi everyone.
I’m using Ultra Dynamic Sky v7.9B in my project.
I have an issue with the Dynamic Landscape Weather Effect (DLWE).
The README of this plugin contains information on setting this parameter, and it works correctly. But when I try to setup interaction for static mesh and repeat steps from README, interactions work differently.
As you can see from my screen capture, when I start my vehicle, I move on top of the static mesh, and interactions from DLWE create particles but don’t leave trails. In the moment after I slide down to the landscape surface, the interaction component begins trail creation. Right after that, I get back to static mesh, and interactions just create particles.
In the screenshot below, you can see the setup note for non-landscape meshes.
I repeated it step by step, and my result is shown in the screen capture above.

I have tried to play with collision settings and other parameters. The main difference between these actors is only about materials.
Here’s the material for landscape that contain DLWE Function.
Here’s the material for SM, which contains only the Surface Weather Effect Function.
But as it said in README, you don’t need to setup MF of DLWE on SM material. All you need to do is set up the physics material. The system works because it generates particles. Particles are part of these interactions. But interactions don’t generate trails. That’s the question. Why doesn’t it?
