REAL MAPPER is an editor plugin that converts real-world elevation data into fully playable UE landscapes in a single click. Perfect for open-world games, simulations, film and VFX projects, or any project that benefits from geographically accurate terrain. The plugin fetches heightmap tiles from online XYZ tile sources and assembles them automatically into multi-tile UE landscapes with optional satellite imagery preview applied on import. It also supports local heightmap files in RAW 16-bit and PNG 16-bit formats for fully offline workflows.
Core REAL MAPPER features:

Landscapes auto stich and satellite textures assignment via Material Instances
REAL MAPPER includes a dedicated editor window accessible from the menu bar and toolbar. The Map Picker writes all parameters automatically to the active task asset. Import tasks are plain UAssets — open them in the Details panel, review the Plan, and click Run. The satellite imagery preview is applied as a transient unlit material per landscape tile and is visible immediately on import without any manual material setup.
