Hello everyone! I’m tackling an issue where the clothing of my character needs to change in the real time.
To achieve this goal, I imported two skeletal meshes that have exact same hierarchy into my game. The difference is only their clothing.
All the animations of the original skeletal mesh work fine but for some reason they are oddly deformed on a second skeletal mesh that I imported.
Here’s the image:
On the first picture (Left Image) you see original skeletal mesh with all its animations working fine. On the second image (Right Image - Take a closer look to the back of the character) you see an odd deformation.
What could be causing this? The bone hierarchy is the same. Both were imported from a same software (iClone).
I feel the solution is somewhere close but I can’t seem to find it. Could anyone help me sort this out? Thank you very much in advance. If you require additional details, I’d be happy to share.
