Twinmotion’s Only Chance to Make a Generational Leap—Don’t Let It Slip Away!

Opening up Python scripting—or even just a limited set of APIs that allow AI to control Twinmotion—is Twinmotion’s one real opportunity to make a generational leap and leave its competitors far behind.

Please stop focusing on AI image-generation enhancements. If all AI can do is enhance images or add objects, people won’t bother with 3D modeling and rendering—they’ll simply use tools like Nano Banana or GPT Image instead.

I genuinely hope Twinmotion doesn’t let this opportunity slip away.

Twinmotion’s capabilities are clear for everyone to see, but it has far too many settings and buttons. If you want to create a high-quality rendered scene, you have to repeat the following steps for almost every project:

  1. Change the shadow settings to Accurate or MegaLights.

  2. Switch the rendering mode to Lumen or Path Tracer.

  3. Adjust sharpness and vignette settings.

  4. Enable shadows for every light and change the default yellow light color to white.

  5. Adjust the output resolution.

And this does not even include material adjustments or recently introduced features such as lighting and material render passes.

AI could solve this problem extremely well, eliminating the need for users to invest enormous amounts of time learning every setting and panel.

Users would no longer need to learn every part of the Twinmotion interface. They could simply tell the AI what they want, and the AI would operate the actual Twinmotion scene through APIs while preserving the result as a fully editable 3D project.

Isn’t that exactly why Twinmotion was created in the first place—to produce better visual results in less time?
