I’m encountering an issue where Revit 2025 is unable to detect Twinmotion 2025.1.1 and 2025.2, despite having the correct version of Twinmotion installed. The error message I receive is: “A supported version of Twinmotion is not installed.”
Details:
-
Revit version: 2025 (fully updated to version 2025.1.1)
-
Twinmotion version: 2025.1.1 and 2025.2
-
Problem: Revit no longer recognizes the installed Twinmotion version, and the “Open in Twinmotion” option is unavailable.
Additional Information:
-
This issue started after updating to Revit 2025.1.1. Twinmotion was working fine previously (prior to the update).
-
Actions taken:
-
I have reinstalled both Revit and Twinmotion multiple times and made sure both are up-to-date.
-
All necessary Windows updates have been applied.
-
I’ve ensured the Twinmotion plugin is not required for Revit 2025. However, even without the plugin, Revit still fails to detect Twinmotion.
-
I checked the Revit Add-ins folder, and the plugin isn’t showing up.
-
What’s happening:
Despite all efforts, the Twinmotion integration for Revit stopped working after the update to Revit 2025.1.1. It was working fine before, and now Revit cannot detect Twinmotion.
