Twinmotion missing parts from Archicad (datasmith)

I made a direct sync from archicad25 to twinmotion, i would say 98% of the geometry is there, but some random parts are not being displayed, they are all there in the AC model. I tried syning, turning layers on and off, turning parts 2-side on, tried a new datasmith file, tried to copy/move elements in AC and sync and still nothing.

Are these missing geometries thin?

Maybe 0 thickness?

Nothing is missing, all is solid geometry with mass, nothing at 0.

see attached video, also some strange thing happens when i copy paste a new part it appears but when I reposition it, it disappears.

The ArchiCad model seems fine to me.

The TM model looks like a Section Cube in the wall. You should check this first....

Filter the layers to "Section" and you will see.

no section cube anywhere.

I have no other idea yet...

Hello ,

Thank you for posting in the community and it seems like maybe you are experiencing a known issue we are working on resolving regarding morph elements being misplaced. The udatasmith format seems to have this problems occurring much less often at this time.

If the elements in questions are morph objects you can sometimes rectify the issue by resetting the 3D texture origin or reapplying it to each elements.

Hello Vincent,

Thanks for the info, I changed some morphs in the AC model and did the sync, sure enough missing morph elements in the TM model. I tried your suggestion, it did not work.

I reported the bug as suggested, I just did not load a file as I was not sure what file? Can i manually output a bug report?

Hello Vincent,

For the moment we close the case, in TM, i just copied over element thats where missing and moved them in place. For now it did the job. I shall reopen the case next time I come back to it. I wont have much time to spend on it, but this community is great.

Hello ,

Thank you for the follow-up and submitting a bug. There is not a way to manually output a bug report that include the Archicad file for us to investigate further on. So having to fill out the form also provides us with the necessary details to investigate.

Kind regards,

Vincent B.
