Twinmotion Lighting is not being built upon importing into UE5.1.

Hi, I'm trying out the Twinmotion 2023.1.1 - UE5.1 workflow using the "Datasmith Twinmotion Content for Unreal Engine" Plug-in. This was released 4th April 2023.

Upon importing any project into UE5 from Twinmotion I get an error saying "LIGHTING NEEDS TO BE REBUILT". This results in no lighting, specifically area lights, spotlights, neon lights, etc... See attached image for context.

I have tried re-building lighting but it seems to build lighting endlessly.

The project is just a basic Twinmotion start project, as it's far less taxing on my laptop than my other projects.

There must be something I'm missing during the importing stage but have tried many times and with no success...

Hey Jacob,

Just to confirm, are you building your lighting by going to Build > Build Lighting Only?

The initial build will probably take a while, and you'll need to rebuild after making changes to your scene, but it should be much faster after that first one. Thanks,

just came across this post because I have the same lighting message. Since this post is over a year old, has anything changed? I want to use Lumen, and I was under the impression that lighting types should be set to movable, rather than static - could that be the issue?
