Twinmotion: Focus on Configurations and AI in the Next Update!

Twinmotion vs. D5 Render

Is D5 Render currently Twinmotion’s biggest competitor? In my opinion, yes!

But Twinmotion has something that D5 STILL DOESN’T HAVE and that sets it apart… the Configurations (Interactivity).

And, by combining interactivity with Lumen and Nanite, Twinmotion stands out even more.

As a Twinmotion user since 2021, I would very much like the next update to focus on Artificial Intelligence (which some competitors already have) and Interactivity.

Below are some suggestions that I consider very interesting for interactivity:

  1. Object physics: possibility to activate and deactivate object physics in drone and pedestrian modes;

  2. Pop-up window on the screen: open a pop-up window when clicking a trigger, allowing you to add text, images, or videos. And in the text, basic text settings (bold, italic, underline, alignment, text color, and overall opacity of the pop-up window);

  3. On-screen watermark: When the client is viewing the project, they will be able to see a watermark of your company on the screen. Additionally, there should be opacity control for this image;

  4. Custom image and title in the presentation upload tab: Possibility to customize the image and title in the presentation upload tab according to each client’s project. This applies to both cloud and offline (executable) environments.

  5. Custom sounds: Possibility to add custom sounds to the scene as needed;

  6. Video Material with audio: Option to enable or disable the video audio.

    One detail… some of my suggestions above have already appeared on the Twinmotion Roadmap at some point. These are suggestions that the development team has already considered adding. Please only add these suggestions in the next update.

    And if you have any suggestions for the Configurations (Interactivity), please comment below so the development team can review them.
