Is there any hope for Macs? I just got a mac mini M4 pro chip with 64GB and I was finally able to update to the most recent twinmotion version. I have had nothing but issues including multiple crashes to the point where something that should take 15 minutes is taking almost an hour. ALL my settings are on low, but it seems to persist. Am I missing something? Do I need something external for this software to function as it should? Also when I go to the contact page on the website it says it doesn’t exist, so I am writing here.
Hello, nmarvel22; for the Mac situation, it’s difficult to say what could be wrong. I would suggest sending the crash report with maybe a little explanation of what you were doing.
Also maybe review the system requirement in case something is missing
For the contact page, do you mean the “Contact Support”?
The old Twinmotion website doesn’t exist anymore. All the discussion and articles were moved here.
But you can still access support, which I suggest you do by clicking on “Contact Support” on the main Twinmotion page here on EDC.
Thank you
MC
I have the same Mac build and have been experiencing the same. I’m importing models from Archicad 28 and SketchUp 25 via Datasmith Direct Link plugins. TM 2025.1 is crashing constantly while just compositing, adjusting materials, or scenes. I get 5-10 minutes of use before it crashes each time. I began by submitting crash reports, but have had to switch back to 2024.1.2
Same here: We’ve been testing Twinmotion 2025.1 on macOS Silicon Processors (M2, M3, Pro, Max), and unfortunately, it’s been extremely unstable. The application crashes repeatedly during basic in the whole class (25 students+) import —editing materials, even saving… It’s reached a point where it’s nearly impossible to get any meaningful work done.
Due to this, we’ve had to roll back to Twinmotion 2024 to continue our projects without interruption. While we’re excited about the new features in 2025.1, stability is key, and right now it’s just not there on Mac.
We love TM and we’re hoping for a fix or a more stable update soon.
Thanks

I’ll clarify - i’m working on the M4 Max 64 gb Sequoia 15.3.2
We were using the 2013 imac macOS Catalina 10.15 with Twinmotion normally, version 2022, we did the 2025.1 update and from then on the mac started to become unstable, then Twinmotion crashed, the Epic Games Launcher crashed and the entire system crashed.
The system did not let me uninstall the update and now we are without a computer because the computer’s startup disk is no longer available after several forced restarts.
Hi there, Mac user!
Thank you so much for reaching out. We’re aware that some users are experiencing performance issues with Twinmotion 2025.1 on macOS. The good news is that we’ve made some improvements in the latest hotfix, and we’re continuing to work hard on further enhancements.
That said, your feedback is incredibly valuable to us! We kindly ask that you use the “Contact Support” button to report any issues you’re facing — especially if you can include reproducible steps. This will help us better understand the problems and allow our development team to address them more effectively.
Your reports truly make a difference and help us make Twinmotion better for everyone. Thank you so much for your patience, support, and for being part of our community.
Warm regards,
MC
Me too, I gave up with 2025.1 and actually working with more stable 2024.1
