Twinmotion 2025.1.1 Crashes with Blue Screen – RTX 5080 / AMD 9950X3D

Dear Support Team,

I recently set up a new PC with the following configuration:

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5080

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D

RAM: 64 GB

Operating System:  Windows 11

Unfortunately, Twinmotion 2025.1.1 crashes with a blue screen (BSOD) every time I try to launch it.
I have already tried the following steps:

Reinstalled Twinmotion 2025.1.1 several times

Updated all drivers (GPU, chipset, etc.)

Ensured the system is fully up to date

Tested Twinmotion 2024 — it runs without issues

The blue screen occurs immediately upon launching Twinmotion 2025.1.1, making it impossible to use the application.

Could you please let me know if this issue is known, and whether there is any compatibility fix or workaround available?

I’m having the same issue with 2025.1 and 2025.1.1. AMD Ryzen 5950X, 128GB Ram, RTX 5090. Gets to the launch screen then bluescreens. I’ve tried NVIDIA Game and Studio drivers. The latest Unreal Build is running fine.

Same issue here, RTX 5070, i7 14700K, 64GB RAM, new build. Twinmotion 2024 runs fine, I am frustrated right now, I am working on an important project

Same problem here. After updating to the latest Nvidia driver version, whether Game Ready or Studio driver, Twinmotion 2025.1.1 crashes on startup or Windows crashes completely with error code DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION.

Nvidia Game Ready version 576.28 and Nvidia Studio driver version 576.02

GPU: Nvidia RTX 5070
CPU: AMD Threadripper 7260x
RAM: 128 GB
MB: Asus Pro WS TRX50-Sage Wifi

Hello, I also have this problem and is related to Nvidia driver incompatibility, i have to roll back to 572.83…seems a known issues Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (TM-19708)

i have same issue , it was working well with RTX 2070 Super , i only upgraded it to 5080 and only twinmotion 2025.1.1 crushes with blue screen on start up , all drivers updated !

same issue on asus rog strix scar with RTX5090: when launching twinmotion 2025.1.1 it goes straight to bluescreen with DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

i have the same with 5060ti, works only with directx 11. but additionally, i have issues with twinmotion 2024 also and with directx 12. it loads fine, but windows crashes with blue screen after export is started. same erorr dpc_watchdog_violation

We’re aware some users are experiencing crashes & BSODs with Twinmotion 2025.1.1.

The bad thing is that for me Twinmotion 2024 also do not works. At least it loads, but windows blue screen appears when renderings is started. Do others reported about such issue with Twinmotion 2024 on geforce 5060ti?

Wild how bad this 50x0 launch has been. Mid-june and I had to install beta Redshift drivers and Twinmotion blue screens? And this thread is a month old? What is going on, Nvidia?

** Solved it. had to roll the Nvidia driver back to studio driver 572.83 with a clean install. Problem solved. **

Everything was fully updated, but couldn’t launch Twinmotion 2025.1.1

I found this youtube video online that suggested this is a known issue and rolling back the nvidia driver would help.

I also noticed I was using the game ready driver, and I switched to the old studio driver.

The 572.83 nvidia studio driver works with Twinmotion 2025.1.1. I had trouble with 576.52 and 576.02. It’s currently June 14, 2025, and I’m wondering when the next Nvidia studio driver drops and if they’ll fix this in their next release or if this is something Twinmotion can fix. Hope they fix it soon.
