Twinmotion 2024.1 GPU Crash dump Triggered

Hello everyone,

My Twinmotion 2024.1 keeps crashing right after starting the application. So far I have not been able to open the program once without getting the same error over and over again.

As far as I’m concerned my PC’s specs should not be a problem:

  • Intel(R) Core™ i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
  • 32.0 GB RAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER

So far I’ve unsuccessfully been trying some possible solutions found in other forums:

  • Reinstalling Epic Games / Twinmotion
  • Updating Graphics Drivers
  • Changing TdrDelay to 60 seconds

Happy for any help/ suggestions!

I personally have the same issue. Even worst, i was working in a project for fiew days and one day it happens the same crush and i was not able to open it anymore. I am super sad i don’t wont to lose all my hours of work. My pc have also a better video card with an INVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

has there been a solution to this yet? I’ve tried uninstalling and redownloading multiple times, restarted my laptop, troubleshooted, and nothing has worked.

same problem for me, a solution is needed ASAP

I was able to find a solution and hopefully it works for you guys too. My issue was my laptop was using intel graphics card by default instead of Nvidia’s. You can switch it by disabling intel.
This can be done by searching up device manager on your pc, then display adapter then then disabling the intel graphics. There shouldn’t be too many issues with disabling it, but this is the only fix that I could find for now.

i followed what you did but now twinmotion is running at sub 10 frames. I have a 4060 it shouldn’t be doing this. would you know why?

Thank you so much! I´ve been this problem for over a week.
I´ll keep using this method just for the start, and then enabling Intel GPU when TM has already started, hopefully won´t have the same issue as @bblue6473 … haven´t had the time to try it with my workflow, I´ll keep updating if any other error found.

Just for curiosity, do you know if this means that is an Intel GPU driver issue? (In this case I guess it should be fixed when a new update for Intel GPU driver comes), or is it a TM issue?

hey everyone!
i actually got in contact with twinmotion support, i tried everything they told me: switched from intel to nvidia graphic drivers, updated my bios etc.
what worked was:
i have omen gamin hub on my pc (i assume its different for everyone) and i changed the graphic switcher from hybrid to discrete - and it worked!!
