Hello. I have a project that I did in version 2023.1 preview 1 and epic games did an automatic update to preview 2. After this update, when I try to open the project, this error pops up. I really need help because I have a project that I need to finish immediately. If there is no solution to this problem then you can give me a preview 1 installer because that version worked fine. Hello and thank you for reaching out, we are aware of the number of issues related to the release of Twinmotion 2023.1 Preview 2. You can find a list of issues that we are actively tracking at this stage here as well as further steps you may take.
Please know that Previews are meant to evaluate, iterate and learn new features before the official release. Once the official release is out, Previews will no longer be available. While they offer a lot of improvements, they are not production ready. Currently, we recommend using the Twinmotion 2022.2.3 (Official) for production and ongoing projects. I would like to ask if you could check the file with the project that I sent you via your website? Are you able to open it?
And another thing, could you send me the installation file with preview 1 or possibly send me the converted file with the project? This is extremely important because I worked on the project for several weeks (I am aware of the risk of using the preview version). Please don't tell me it's a preview because I know it but it defaults to autoupdate and there was no warning that I might lose all my work and there's no way to downgrade.
I also use d5 render and when I had a problem with the newer version they sent me the installation file without any problems. I really appreciate your work and how twinmotion is developed (I love this engine) but please be more understanding and humane (take example from d5 developers). Is it really a big deal to upload the setup file to preview 1? Not only a good engine is a guarantee of success, but also how you treat consumers ;)

We just released a hotfix for this issue and I have confirmed that your file is working now. Please download the hotfix through the Epic Games Launcher and try launching your file again.
If it does not work, please let us know through the support case you created and we will continue to look into this.
