I've created a new Project from scratch in Twinmotion 2023.1 and most of the times I go into Media Mode to set up a rendering scene, the whole system freezes as soon as I try to create an Image or try to select one of the suggested images/scenes.
Not even the Task-Manager can be accessed so I have to hard reboot my PC.
I didn't have these issues with earlier versions although I've been uisng the same working procedure as always.
The only thing I do differently now is that I use many Decals which in earlier versions couldn't be rendered with the Path Tracer on.
Has anyone else experienced this or am I missing something?
I have had this issue with every version of twinmotion since release of 2022. The only work around I have found was to set up the parts of the video backwards. You do the last frame shot first, then work backwards to the first frame shot last. Otherwise, you could set up incremental save to high intervals as a fail safe. I have put multiple submissions about this issue, and the epic twinmotion team can never seem to replicate the problem. I have this happen both on my work computer with lower specs, and my home computer with an RTX graphics card.
We recently released our Twinmotion 2023.1.2 update which included a fix for a GPU crash that would occur when navigating the Media Dock while it contained Path Traced media. This fix may be helpful, even in cases where the GPU was not crashing, so I recommend downloading and using the new update to see if this improves this behavior.
If the issue still occurs, please submit a bug report here and be sure to include a copy of the Twinmotion.log files from when the issue occurred so we can inspect what was happening at the time the issue occurred.
We are still experiencing the error, when in media mode (and somteimes even not in media mode) twimotion freezes for a while before completely loading an image in path tracer.
Can you help why this is happening and how to deal with it?
