I have my Vectorworks file exported into Twinmotion, but have some problems that have persisted since my 2020 installation. First, some texture maps do not import. These are just generic maps created in Vectorworks, just like many others that import just fine, but for some reason are not visible. Second, any texture map with a "glow" added in Vectorworks are simply blasting out light in Twinmotion. What is that all about? Thirdly, all textures that have transparency maps do not come in clean. They come in blasting light, just like the glow textures. As it stands, it is not possible to use Twinmotion with a Vectorworks file that has all the texture maps placed. I'd have to just build new maps in Twinmotion--doubling my workload--and export a non-mapped version of my VW file. Is this the way it is supposed to work? Is Twinmotion really just meant to accept un-mapped Vectorworks files? I assume so since it does not interpret the native maps properly, but it would be great if I'm just doing something wrong.
HI ,
Would you be able to share a copy of some files that show these issues happening? If so, please submit a bug report at https://twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com/s/case-community-page with the affected files and our support team can figure out if this issue originates from Vectorworks, or if it is a Twinmotion issue.
Best,
