Hello,
I use Twinmotion Trial as an individual for my own house project.
I started using the 2021.1.4 version, which was working fine, although understandibly slowly because of the relatively old MacBook I use.
I have installed the 2022.1 version and it also worked OK for a day.
Then it crashed, and when I strted it again, it won't load - I see the initial loading window (screenshots attached), then I see for a second an empty project window, and then it disappears.
The appliccation seems to be running according to the taskbar, and also the menu is there.
If I try to open a project file I see the pop-up with the loading progress bar, and after that - nothing.
If I close, I see the popup that asks whether to save the project, but I wasn't able to make the project window appear.
I tried to uninstall and re-install, including the Epic Games Launcher itself.
I tried to clean the application cache from /Library/Caches
None of the above helped.
The old version is still opening fine, but the problem is that I have converted the project to the new version and deleted the old project, as for a while everything seemed to work fine.
Now I cannot load the converted project file to 2021.1.4.
I have MacOS Big Sur 11.6.2
I have 16 GB of RAM, but there is no dedicated graphics card (Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB)
Could this problem be due to higher resources demand by the 2022.1 version?
Did this change for 2022.1 compared to 2021.1.4?
If that's the case, why the application doesn't announce the lack of resources upon start, and how come did it open initially and worked for a while (a day)
Is there anything that I can do to make that version work, so I don't need to start all over with my project which I cannot load at the moment to 2021.1.4, and 2022.1 doesn't open?
If you need any debug info, please let me know - I am willing to help resolving this issue in case this is a bug.
Thanks!
