The Skeletal Editor is a new set of tools released with Unreal Engine 5.3 that will allow you to Create and Modify Skeletal Meshes. With these tools you can make modifications to skeletons, edit skin weights, and paint maps. This guide will show you how to get started with these powerful new tools.

Thanks for this absolute guide !
However, when I change the skeleton name, the whole animation just breaks… Is there a way to fix animations altogether?
Thanks for the tutorial, I tried to add bone with blueprint, I managed to do it, but unfortunately you can’t see the bones in the final skeletal mesh even calling
“Commit skeleton to skeletal mesh”
If you open the skeletal mesh and enable the Editing Tools and select the Skeleton toolbar button, then the new bone will be appeared in the hierarchy. Any solution?
Is this link still acurate? HTTP-status 200, but no content appears to be there
Praying for more scripting options soon!
Edit: lol I scriped it all myself zz
Nice tutorial for great new features. How do you update the mesh after you’ve added bones and edited some weights?
