Hello! Thank you for this tutorial. I have followed your tutorial step by step already 3 times
in a detailed process and everything was perfect until the last step when clicking on “Metahuman Identity Solve”, since my mesh has only the face (exactly as the tutorial video), the skull head and ears should be fulfilled automatically with an unreal metahuman template suitable for the face size, however although if fulfills the head and the ears, but it adds a really strange skull head not suitable for the face and also the ears that were added by unreal are so bad… for some reason is not creating well the ears neither the head skull. What am I doing wrong?
I have tried already 3 times with no success just in this last step…of getting finally the mesh in Unreal. Also the neck created by unreal is not good at all. Please could you tell me what am I missing or doing wrong? I provide here a picture from the mesh after clicking “Meta Human Identity Solve”. My own mesh has only the face and a little bit of the neck part just as the model in your tutorial video. Could you provide a solution, please?
Thank you in advance!
Hi LizzyGameDev,
this is more Unreal question. How does look the model in RealityCapture? How many images was used for the model creation? Can you try delete that neck part completely? It seems like just upper lip is used for head model creation. Can you allow more face’s part to model creation (frame it)?
