Tutorial on how to use github for 2 people collaborating on new project needed

Hello. My friend and I want to work on a project in Unreal 4 together. We live far away from each other. I can’t setup a dedicated perforce server and want the simplest solution.

I tried to do github but I am totally confused.

Is it possible that someone could help me by making a tutorial on doing a new blank project and setting up Github from the start? Video tutorial would be best!

Hey warrenc, I’ve installed succesfully github-stuff just yesterday so I can recommend tutorials I’ve followed. I use bash + SourceTree as software part and BitBucket for repo(because it’s free for team size<5):

• Nice, short and casual-friendly manual with pictures
• Video tutorial(Really good and very visual) about git basics and concepts
• Epic tutorial how to connect your repo to UE4 and software recommendations
