I’m currently having the same problem where sometimes the 3d gas master effect doesn’t appear in the scene. I’ve tried the fixes suggested above but still no luck. Any thoughts here?

You need to activate the Niagara Fluid plugin Loading the Niagara Fluids Plugin | Tutorial
Be carful as it is Beta right now
