I’m currently having the same problem where sometimes the 3d gas master effect doesn’t appear in the scene. I’ve tried the fixes suggested above but still no luck. Any thoughts here?
Why haven’t I grid 3d gas master emitter?
You need to activate the Niagara Fluid plugin Loading the Niagara Fluids Plugin | Tutorial
Be carful as it is Beta right now
In 5.5, the 3d Gas Emitter doesn’t emit fire when temperature is enabled. Inconsistent with the behavior in 5.3.
Update: Found the issue. Render Temperature is not set to Black Body by default in 5.5.
I have found one possible solution to the problem of why Grid3d_Gas_master_emitter is not working in your project. If you add an asset that uses Gas_emitter, before you add the asset, you must enable the Niagara Fluids plugin and only then add the asset.
When I’m adding the Grid3D_Gas_Master_Emitter to the Niagara system, The preview window is empty - I see only the bounding box.
I’m on 5.5.3 and read this thread twice and tried everything…Anyone else have this problem in 5.5.3 ?
found out what was the problem - the project was set to forward rendering so of course it won’t work…
