I have a Vive Tracker 3 and my device pairs without errors in SteamVR 1.25.8 but no connected device appears to me in the steamvr app. I need to work with UE5 but if I can’t even pair it properly with steam how am I going to use it ? It’s the first one I buy of several I need but it doesn’t work as it should.

I have followed this guide to the letter for Unreal 5.2, but I’m unable to get the Vive tracker that is being use as the camera to respond at all. Everything is showing as working, live link is green, I have set -xtrackingonly and yet the tracker is not active/responding to the camera. Have you tested the Vive trackers without the HMD? Am I missing something or are we awaiting a fix still?

This has become very frustrating with steam VR being depreciated and with no alternate way to get this working. Please help!

Try putting the Vive tracker dongles into a USB3 port, as it most likely a port issue.

Did you fix this issue, I am having the same problems as you.

Unable to make this work , im using UE 5.4.4 , vive ultimate tracker and a meta quest 3. I’ve followed your instructions, but with no luck. can you help?
