Dataflow is Unreal Engine’s node-based system for procedural generation of physics based assets. The 5.8 version introduces key features like paper-clip graph generation, python scripting support, skeletal mesh authoring support, debug tools, and improved UI and performance for better usability. It’s widely used in workflows for Cloth, Destruction, Hair, Flesh and MetaHuman setups, and is Production Ready for the 5.8 release.
