Tunnel rendering

I have the opportunity to create an animation of a simple camera flying straight through and above a city, with clouds above, city below, city and clouds to the left and right.

Here’s the key: this animation will be played inside an actual physical square tunnel. So when someome walks down the tunnel, they can look all around (except forward/backward of course) and see that side of the animation. Clouds would be up and seamlessly bleed down the sides. The city would start on the sides and bleed to the floor. So the real person walking down this tunnel, looking down, they’d see a complete down shot into the city they are flying over. If they look directly up, they’d see sun and clouds. Looking to the right and left, they’d see the city and clouds all moving.

Thoughts on rendering this? Moving spherical camera render of some type? Projection mapping? Thought about a camera for each view but you’d end up with seams I’d think.

Any thoughts or tips would be great. Thanks.
