Hello everyone, I have created a kind of mini theater play in Twinmotion with the help of the video function (menu → media) (divided into different scenes = video parts). I would like to play the project live from Twinmotion as a kind of video presentation at an evening event. Since I would like to combine additional (video) layers with the Twinmotion animation, I would like to work with OBS.
The problem is that the animations (weather, animators, fog, lights, etc.) in Twinmotion stop immediately as soon as it is not actively selected (at least under MacOS). Is there a way to always run Twinmotion in the foreground as a process?
Interesting problem.
Twinmotion will stop playing when it is out of focus (even for Mac or PC)
The only way to have something corresponding to your need would be to set up your scene in a presentation and export it to Twinmotion cloud.
Launched in the web browser, it will run without focus on the screen.
But of course, the visual quality could be a bit lower than in the realtime editor on a computer.
You’re right - I would have to rely on the required (image) quality. Also, the dependence on a stable internet connection (via Twinmotion Cloud) for live events is also a component that I would like to avoid ;D
Basically, I find the “standby mode” of Twinmotion totally useful (system performance saving), but in this particular case I would have liked to avoid this behavior.
sure. and session are limited to one hour + you have to move the mouse regulary, to avoid the ‘are you still here’ message that could lead to a deconnection
