Trying to replace a material, but gets reverted back to old one as soon as I save the project!

I’m trying to replace a photo (as a material) in a project, and when I save the project, it goes back to the old photo. Please help!!

Maybe try fixing up redirectors. Right click your content folder from the Content Browser and select “Fix Up Redirectors”. From there it will likely resave a bunch of assets, and then you’ll be safe to swap materials. Additionally, try restarting your editor after fixing up redirectors. Good luck!

Unfortunately this did not solve the problem :frowning: Any other possibilities?

I’m very new to Unreal so also unsure if this is a bug or something I just might be doing wrong? Could it have something to do with the Sequencer?

It depends what you are replacing the material on. For example, if you’re swapping the material inside a blueprint, it may revert to whatever is hardcoded as soon as you run it. Can you take a screenshot of what you are trying to do and post it here? And what you’re swapping the material to?
