Trying to make blood squirt away from character skin

Is this correct or am i missing something to make this particle effect spawn on the skin and squirt outwards?

Depending on the particle type you may want to add from the Hit Normal value a RotationFromXVector to set the rotation to point the particle away from the body so it looks as though it is squirting outward and if the body is moving you may also want to change the Location Type to Snap to Target Keep World Scale so the particle will stay with the body as it moves.
