I am trying to make an interactable piano where each key plays a down and up animation upon a mouse click along with the note to each key. I imported all of the rigged keys and the piano in, the keys would only import as skeletons for some reason, I am using blender as my cg platform. So I have converted a test key into a skeletal mesh and assigned it the animation that it was supposed to have along with the bone rig that it had been given in blender. I can only get responses out of static meshes that work to sound and highlight over mouse hover, any kind of scripting where I just try and swap any static mesh reference out for a skeletal mesh does not work. Might anyone have some pointers that could point me into the right direction? There is just so little support for this type of thing, mostly all of the tutorials deal with RPGs.
