Trying to create a widget library similar to my Figma Design System

Hey, A unreal noobie here. I’m a professional UI designer by trade, I have been trying to get my hands dirty in my studio to get the UI implemented for the game we are building. So basically, we have couple of different text components established in Figma Design system and to make the devs life easier, I tried to create every text component with the same sizes and behavior, but when I try to use these widgets, I am not able to edit the children widgets text component. Is there a way around it? Thanks
