I was updating 4.14.1 to 4.15 but decided I’d rather install it as a seperately installed version. So I stopped the update and added 4.15.0 as a new UE version. However, my 4.14.1 installation now always says “Resume” instead of “Launch”, and I cannot find a way to completely cancel the update. If I launch a project made in 4.14.1, it launches just fine.
Hello ,
I have a couple of questions that will help me narrow down your issue,
- How are you launching engine versions (The Epic Games Launcher, or through GitHub?
- Could you provide screenshots of your issue?
Thank you!
Hello,
- I am using Epic Games Launcher v2.12.22-3290279
- Below you can find the screenshot of my installations.
Even if I resume the update and click on the [x] to cancel it (not pausing it), it will still say “resume” afterwards. The drop down menu doesn’t offer any extra options.
That’d work, thanks
(Now, if only I could fix my OCD about that “resume” status…)
You can access the engine version you need by another method, if you click the yellow drop-down arrow next to the yellow launch box on the left side of the launcher, you can access all the version engines you have currently installed on your machine. From that drop-down menu select the version of the engine you would like to work in then press the launch button and it will launch that version of the engine.
Good Luck Creating!
I have the same issue, very annoying, and why a small point update nssds 2 GiB anyway?
