Trouble with root bone location

So I have this great character model I bought but her root bone is way off its location and
it’s causing big issues when animating.
Anyone got advice on how to fix the bone?

All my characters have had a root bone on the ground between their feet - so that seems right to me - what animation issues are you seeing?

You can export the file to an .fbx, fix it in some 3d software, then import it back again.
