Trouble with parallax occlusion mapping

Have tried everything under the Sun to get parallax to work in 5.1 but nothing works.

Any ideas where I might be going wrong?

I have tried changing light sources, new levels, new projects, different textures, drastically changing parameters, etc.

With or without parallax attached to the UV input the appearance makes no difference.

However, the bump node does seem to work.

I found the answer. If anyone has this problem in the future.

Check project quality settings. Check material quality settings.
