Hey everyone, I’m having trouble with my landscape material in Unreal Engine 5.
I set up a LandscapeLayerBlend in my material with two layers: one for Grass and one for Rock. I connected simple textures/colors to each layer and plugged the blend into the Base Color.
I then assigned this material to my landscape under the “Landscape Material” slot, but when I go into the Landscape > Paint mode, my layers (Grass and Rock) don’t show up in the Target Layers section.
Even when I click the little “+” to add new layers in Paint mode, Unreal doesn’t give me my actual layers — it just lets me create default ones with no connection to the ones I set up in the material.
I also made sure the material is not an instance, and I tried using a very basic setup with just one test layer — still nothing appears.
Can someone help me figure out what I’m doing wrong?
