Trouble transfering from Mixamo to unreal

Hey all! I’m having trouble trying to get a animation into unreal to transfer. I can’t seem to import the mo-cap animations(lowered to 30 fps) into unreal without it crashing. I tried exporting it to as many formats of FBX as I could think of(went to 2013 through maya). But to no avail

I went through all the documentation I could find on unreal but to no avail.

Is there anything new to 4.10 that makes it harder to import?
Thank you in advance

Hello

How are you exporting from Mixamo, this is very important.

After selecting an animation, click to download it, it will pop up a small window with some configuration, be sure that it´s format is set to: FBX for Unreal Engine 4, and also set the skin to be no skin.

Download, unzip it and import directly to unreal, when importing, select the correct and it will work fine.

Thanks for the reply, there is some funky problem with using the original beta model in the scene. Which is understandable looking at their animation packet(which does not contain that model).

I just imported Maw_J_ and used that to retarget. Its not a “solution” but a decent work around.

Hey ,

Does this work as expected in 4.9 or 4.11? There are some issues with skeletal fbx import for 4.10. Most of which are fixed in 4.11.
