Hi,
I created a Trigger Volume and used it to spawn some AI. Works perfectly. However when I went to move it, trigger volume doesn’t show up anymore. I’ve tried all of Hide/Show flags, but it’s still invisible.
I actually noticed same bug in my buddy’s project a couple days ago (I didn’t think much of it at time, till it happened to me). I’m sure this has already been reported, but it didn’t come up on my searches. Wanted to let you know just in case…
Thanks for report. This is a known issue that was believed fixed but has since reappeared. I have entered a bug report for developers to look at (UE-5048), and I will let you know when I see an update on it. It appears that bug only occurs with volumes placed in level before first time project is closed, and all volumes placed after reopening should appear fine. If this is not case for you, please let me know and I will update report. Thanks!
It appears that this has been fixed internally and should appear in a future build. problem is that volume is being placed in its own layer, which is not set to visible when reopening editor. You can fix issue by opening Layers window and deleting layer it appears in, moving it to another layer, or making layer visible. Hope that helps!
